Dear Parent(s) / Guardian(s),

The Dodgeland School District is excited and pleased to provide a variety of Summer School courses this year held in two separate sessions.  You will find that this year’s course offerings include reinforcement classes that are designed to strengthen subject areas in which students need further development.  They are structured to be more remedial in nature.  We also have a wide variety of enrichment classes to provide students with learning activities that broaden their skills and enrich their interests.  Hopefully, there will be enough student interest in each course because a sufficient number of students are needed to run each class section. 

Please note that classes are not guaranteed!  If classes fill up, your child might be scheduled into an alternate class.

Teachers will often recommend that a student enroll in Summer School to further develop the skills and abilities needed to carry on the work of the next grade.  Parents are urged to give serious thought to such recommendations.  Please note that some courses are available ONLY through teacher recommendations.

The Summer School program is open to any child entering 4-year-old kindergarten – 12th grade who resides within the boundaries of the Dodgeland School District, or is currently attending Dodgeland through open enrollment.  Any child who will be attending 4-year-old kindergarten in the fall of 2011 is eligible to participate in the “Fantastic 4K” class.
