Dodgeland is committed to setting our students up for success after graduation. In these Career & College Planning web pages, students can find the Junior timeline and Senior timeline, information regarding Early College Credit, the Letter of Recommendation request form, Dollars for Scholars information, and Dodgeland Graduation Requirements.
The Junior timeline and Senior timeline provide month-by-month recommendations on actions that students should take to be successful in their high school and post-high school careers. Whether taking the ACT Test, applying for Federal Student Aid, or anything in-between, all Dodgeland Juniors and Seniors should reference these timelines to ensure they are on-track for success.
Starting as early as Sophomores, Dodgeland students who meet certain requirements may take post secondary courses through the Early College Credit/Start College Now Programs. Courses are taught by a UW system college or university, a Wisconsin technical college, a Wisconsin private, nonprofit college or university, or a Wisconsin tribally-controlled college. Approved courses may count toward high school graduation and college credit.
Letters of Recommendation are valuable documents for students that are interested in applying for both job and college applications. Students may request a letter of recommendation from Dodgeland staff members by filling out the online Letter of Recommendation Request Form.
Dodgeland Dollars for Scholars is a nonprofit foundation that supports academic success in our community. As part of Scholarship America's national network of locally based, volunteer-driven Dollars for Scholars chapters, their mission is to mobilize our community on behalf of post-secondary education success for our students. Dodgeland Dollars for Scholars offer several scholarships to Dodgeland seniors each year.
The Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Application is now available. There is currently $10,000 up for grabs through this scholarship program. The application will be available until April 15, 2022. For more information about these scholarships and how to apply, students may create a Dollars for Scholars online account or see Mrs. Beaudo.
In order to be awarded a high school diploma, a student must earn a minimum of 26 credits in grades 9-12. High school courses taken during middle school are not applicable toward the 26 credit requirement. It is the responsibility of each student to be certain that she/he has the correct amount of credits in order to graduate. Requirements to graduate can be found on the Dodgeland Graduation Requirements web page.
