"Your H/D baseball team got back in the win column on Saturday winning
both games of the double header against Tomahawk 13 to 1 and 9 to 6.
In game 1, Kaden Fillmore picked up the win, striking out 5 and
allowing 3 hits. In game 2, Alex Davis got the win coming in relief.
The team will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Parkview
as they hope to complete the season sweep of the Vikings."
Congratulations to Mia Pergande and Jason Banyasz for being selected as this week's Trojans of the Week! Mia and Jason were nominated by high school teachers and here is what they had to say about them :
"Mia is a quiet student that makes a big impact on Dodgeland. She is kind and thoughtful to everyone and adds a voice to those that need it. In the art classroom, her ideas and artwork force viewers to think deeper on important topics and have a new perspective. With a golden heart and an open mind, Dodgeland is lucky to have Mia. "
"Jason adds a unique energy to any classroom he enters. Not only that, but he also adds his unique art style as well. It has been a privilege to watch his artistic skills and style grow in the past year. It is an inspiration how Jason is not afraid to ask, "Why can't it be different?" And as a new perspective to old ways. His humor is always going to give everyone a smile as well. "
They will each receive lunch from Subway, a small gift, and preferred parking for the week. If you see Mia or Jason, be sure to congratulate them!
