| October 2025 HS IMPACT Concussion AssessmentsFor athletes whose most recent Impact Test is before March 2024, they will need to take a new test.  If they have not completed an Impact test in the past (commonly freshmen), the athlete will also need to take an Impact test before participating in a Winter sport.  If their next sport will be in the Spring and they would like to complete the Impact test early, that is encouraged.  ***Only cross country and track & field participants (except pole vaulters) are exempt from needing the Impact test.*** Dates: Tuesday, October 28 and Thursday October 30Time & Location: 3:15 - 4:30 PM in Room 302
 
	Required for ALL HS athletes participating in football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, soccer and pole vault.  Assessments valid for 2 years if NO CONCUSSION occurred in the last 12 months.Spring dates will be scheduled for softball, baseball, girls soccer and pole vaulters. 
 2025-2026 Mandatory Sports Meeting The Dodgeland School District is returning to an IN PERSON sports meeting, for all parents and student-athletes in grades 5-12.  This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th starting at 6:00 pm in the high school gymnasium.  Parents and student-athletes should arrive by 5:45 to sign in and also pick up all required documents for participation in athletics.   All completed and signed documents can be turned in at the conclusion of the meeting along with the athletic required participation fee. Wisconsin Concussion Law, Act 172, Statute 118.293 requires all parents/guardians and athletes to be educated on the risks of concussions and head injuries.  A new addition to this law also requires education on sudden cardiac arrest which will also be covered in this meeting.  Makeup meeting date is TBD in the media center/library.  Any student planning on participating in any athletic activity during the 2025-2026 school year must attend one of these meetings with a parent or guardian.
