Welcome to Dodgeland Middle School! We hope you find this site helpful and user friendly. In addition, you can follow us on Facebook or read past newsletters to keep updated.
I have had the privilege of serving as principal at Dodgeland since 2008; 11 years as the Elementary principal and now of the Middle and High School. This means that I have known most of our students since they began their Dodgeland School journey at 4 years old!
At Dodgeland, we consider it a privilege to work with your children every day to help them be their very best selves. We believe that each and every student has a gift to share with the world, and we work hard to unlock their highest potential. We have high expectations of our students, and we have high expectations of ourselves to help all Dodgeland students have the necessary skills and knowledge for post-high school success. As a faculty, we are committed to building relationships with students and recognizing the well-being of the whole child, including social/emotional needs beyond academics.
To help your student be successful in school, you can help them understand what is required of them to be a good learner inside and outside of the classroom. Talk about qualities and learning behaviors such as: taking positive risks, viewing errors as opportunities, working to recover from a mistake, giving and receiving feedback, asking questions, collaborating with peers, setting goals, planning with a purpose, and tracking their own progress. Students need both high challenge and high support to grow as learners, and we look forward to helping students maximize their growth at Dodgeland.
If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas to share, please do not hesitate to contact me by email or by phone at (920) 486-4404, ext. 1030. We invite you to be our partners in our work. We look forward to working with families to accomplish great things for our students!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jessica Johnson
