Current Practices

Provide staff and students with a variety of seating choices that are easily accessible and movable based on student needs.

Spaces are designed to meet the needs of diverse learners such as quiet spaces, collaborative spaces, hi/low tables and chairs, a variety of displays, and space for large groups such as class lessons or staff meetings.

Utilize physical and digital displays to promote curiosity, materials, and resources.

Shared Google calendar to view and reserve IMC space and/or the librarian.

Implement a therapy animal team within the school library, creating a more welcoming and supportive space that promotes student engagement, emotional well-being, and literacy development.
5 Year Goal

Continue to research, acquire, and promote maker activities such as 3D printers.

Continue to provide a time and space for independent work with high school students throughout the day (study halls, IEB).

Maintain a clean and organized space.
