Why ACP?
Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-sponsored process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post-secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.
Academic and Career Planning (ACP) is designed to equip students and their families with the tools they need to make informed decisions about postsecondary education, training, and future career pathways. Through ACP, students explore their interests, develop goals, and plan for opportunities that lead to meaningful careers.
ACP is part of the Dodgeland School District’s and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s shared vision that every student graduates from high school ready for college, career, or both. Our goal is for students to become innovative problem-solvers and confident decision-makers who positively impact their own lives and the communities where they live, work, and learn.
Graduates of Dodgeland High School will be productive, self-sufficient adults who pursue fulfilling and rewarding careers.
