There are a lot of moving parts in the middle school. The existing flooring (VCT) has been mostly removed. Plumbing rough-in’s in the bathrooms are complete and drywall is ready to be installed. The previous entrance to the bathrooms has been closed up by the masons, who also built the new locker bays between the hall and collaboration area. You can also see the new steel stud framing being installed for the Special Education and SGI classrooms.

The new concrete for the MS/HS Plaza is nearly complete. The only areas left to finish are in the center of the plaza where colored concrete, benches, and trees are going.

The three borrowed light openings have been cut to allow light from the Commons to shine through into the Tech Center. The next step will be setting the window frames in these openings.

This past week, we had a 275 ton crane on-site to remove existing rooftop units. After the RTU removal, a new curb gets installed in the roof penetration to accommodate the new RTU that will be placed there.
